Brandon Wedding Photographer

Weddings are not my niche, but every now and then you have to try new things, and this lovely young couple trusted me and a few colleagues on their special day.  I am so thankful that other photographers in the past have let me second shoot weddings with them so I have been comfortable enough to do one or two weddings now on my own. I was so happy to have two photographers willing to do the same for me during the ceremony and first dances. A big thank you to Reilly & Patricia for helping me capture some treasured moments of B&P’s big day!  Most of the time photographing their day was at the reception, which was a lot of fun and full of some serious dance moves.  Hello, I almost dropped my camera when they started the “Harlem Shake” – literally! It rained most of the day, but for stayed dry for enough time to get some of the couple before sunset at the reception, which was perfect! B’s dad’s umbrella was perfect for a few dramatic shots.  I wish the happy couple nothing but love and happiness and thank you for letting me help document your day.

Enjoy, and if you are here for the happy couple, don’t forget to comment below to help them get a gift print from me as a thank you!

Largo Photographer: Beach newborn pictures

Largo Family Photographer

Newborn Beach Pictures

Meet baby M, she was just six days fresh when we met at Sand Key, to do a portion of her newborn photos.  Newborn pictures outdoors in November can be amazing.  Her grandmas, big brother and mom and dad were all there to keep her warm, safe and enjoy the gorgeousness that they are blessed to live close to. I have to say, I wish I would have been able to do this for my own little beach bums when they were newborns!  What a lovely little mermaid and a story to tell her for a long time about her newborn photos!  Her brother was so in love and so well behaved, despite having to share a lot of attention with his gorgeous new sister.  Hamilton Creek- Photography-newborn-pictures-at-the-beachblog-hamilton-creek-photography-newborn-pictures-at-the-beach-2

Extended Family Session Curtis Hixon Park

Large Extended Family Photographs

Tampa Photographer Curtis Hixon Park

This lovely family has been in my life for a long time, and helped support those early days as only other twin moms can.  They are as kind and generous as they are beautiful.  This session we did an extended family session, always a favorite of mine to photograph.  We had limited time with family from all over only in town a few days, but thankfully we scheduled this because I think these types of memories are priceless for everyone involved! Curtis Hixon Park is getting ready for the holiday ice skating rink, so we stayed mostly in the treelined area up by the river and then on the top of the park area with views of the city and it was just gorgeous up there.  I even had a bit of fun with the family near the end and loved the result of getting that big of a group to jump together! The anticipation of the jump is as priceless of the jumps themselves! Lots of smiles and giggles just waiting for that moment!  We had fun discussing ideas for their colors for the group clothing, a challenge with a family of three let alone 10 people.  I loved the punch of color form the orange in particular on the little ones, and of course, when I saw S’s dress, I was singing “What does the Fox Say?” the entire session…in my head!

Holiday Mini-Sessions

Hamilton Creek Photography Holiday Mini-Sessions

Medard Park, Plant City Pictures

This family has been with me since the beginning and I am so thankful they asked me to photograph them this year! They had unbelievable bad luck the night of our session, but the show had to go on and we’ll catch up with Daddy again soon for a few family photos, too! There is something so special about being a twin mom, so I think it is extra special to get a little extra photo time just you and your babies any way! Mosie their sweet puppy came along, and it definitely made it more fun, everyone laughed from the beginning after Mosie went to the bathroom RIGHT next to me! If you have shy kiddos and they love their pet, I would highly recommend doing it if you can.  It certainly helped the shyer of the two of them warm up instantly!!  I could post every picture from this session! The light was again so surreal and they are all so gorgeous inside and out! Thanks for the special session F family!

Holiday Mini-Session Medard Park

Holiday Mini-Sessions

Medard Park Family Photos

This family was so much fun as the kick-off to my first official date for the holiday mini-sessions. Our weather could not have been better, not too hot, not too cold, just right! Medard Park is absolutely one of the most gorgeous places to take pictures in Tampa Bay.  The lighting is magical.  I am so excited to be doing a few more sessions there before the end of the year.  I still have one spot open for mini-sessions at Medard Park in December as well at 2:45pm, December 7th.  More details available HERE.

Here are a few of my favorite images from the session.  I have to say, they did great with the what-to-wear (yes, we did a few back and forth texts of different layouts of clothing).  The layering of patterns worked by keeping the colors complimentary and the pants simple and classic in jeans.  I think it would have been boring if both boys were in plain polos personally, so I love the added interest in the photos the plaid brought in. The little girl’s dress was simple enough to not clash but enough detail to make her stand out in her own photos, too! What do you think?
