Classic Tampa Wedding Photographer
Avila Country Club Wedding
Last month, I sneaked a little view into the wedding of Eric & Brieann; a classic Tampa wedding held at Avila Country Club and Christ the King Church – click here to see that sneak. I finished their gallery a few weeks ago and now that they have had a chance to enjoy and peruse their wedding gallery, I wanted to share a few more of my favorites with you.
What a day, filled with so many people who helped this gorgeous bride and sweetest groom’s wedding vision become a reality. The team at Confetti Events, led by Nicole Voute, helped keep everyone on time and everything ran so smoothly, even on a Friday coming from Avila to South Tampa and back again in time for sunset! Along with all the other businesses and people below who helped make their wedding day special and memorable. I am so honored Brieann and Eric chose me and my team that included Reilly and Theresa who also rocked the day, to document their special love and be part of the amazing display of love for each other, their family and their God.
Here are a few more of my favorites of everyone getting ready at Avila. This blush fit and flare wedding dress by Maggie Sottero is probably one of the most beautiful wedding dresses I have ever seen! Definitely made for Brieann.
The sweetest moments were when Brieann and her Dad had a moment keeping her in the wedding dress a surprise until just before leaving for the church. I loved that they had a special moment and Dad’s reaction in a German accent saying “Vow” aka “wow” just like her foreign exchange student prom date had done in that same spot many years earlier. It was too sweet and so fitting!
Who can resist dogs in tuxes? Not me! Benny and Harley are the cutest dogs in wedding clothes ever!
Now, onto the wedding, the most touching ceremony ever. When your first date is at church, you know your wedding day is going to be so spiritually beautiful, and it truly was.
Although, the best way to display these gorgeous peonies and orchids was with the gorgeous bridal party of the wedding, am I right? These pictures look like they are straight out of Martha Stewart Wedding magazine! The Amsale bridesmaid dresses in blush could not have been prettier with that golden light and contrast from the green golf course!
In keeping with a classic styled wedding, the cake was simple and classic and best of all tasted amazing!

Once the toasts were made, the food was devoured, the amazing DJ, of Grant Hemond & Associates, Corey Barron, got the party started with lots of fun dancing, from some classic Greek dancing, to their family favorite special dance to Paul Simon’s “You Can Call me Al” as well as helping with the grand exit with sparklers. I loved seeing Brieann and Eric dance, they were clearly having so much fun, along with all their guests and family!
I loved the grandness of the dance floor area of Avila Country Club, especially with the first dance photos of the new bride and groom in black and white.
The night ended with a grand sparkler exit. Which, as the photographer and videographers, being inside a ring of people with fire, well, that is a bit overwhelming, right? See that stick right in front of my camera on the top shot below, and the other sparkler a little too close for comfort to Eric, yikes! But it was worth it in the end, how sweet and happy are these two? What a great day to be part of. Thank you again Brieann and Eric!
