Lettuce Lake Park Tampa Family Pictures

I loved meeting this family a few weeks ago. We met at Lettuce Lake Park for some Tampa family pictures. We had to move up their session when they found out their beloved dog, Rufus, was ill. I am so glad I was able to move things around for them and capture their fun family with their sweet lab. Oh my gosh, he stole my heart! Here are a few of my favorites from their session. I just mailed off the last of their print order this morning and I can’t wait to see all these sweet shots up on their walls. There really is nothing better than seeing your family up on your own walls. It is so great for your children’s self-confidence and as a mama, nothing makes me happier than seeing images as our family gets older and wiser.

This family incorporated some of my favorite color combos in their clothing as well. The classic dress the mom wore in mustard looked great amongst the greener of Lettuce Lake Park. Blue and yellow is a great combo for most family photos in pretty much any location, too. I love that this sweet, active boy wore shorts as well. Truly, letting your kid be themselves and be comfortable and yet stylish, is the best plan of action for family photos! We did lots of running, climbing and playing and the shorts definitely helped. It also was hot and humid this particular January night, so that certainly helped keep him look cool!

I mean, look at this pup. How happy is he being out in the nature of Lettuce Lake Park? Such a fun spot for furry family members and all kids who love a little adventure and exploration during your photo session. Lettuce Lake is also my favorite spot to capture some fun pockets of light. You can see one of my favorite maternity sessions and some fun pockets of light we found that ended up being some of their faves from the Tampa photo session as well HERE.
