Sunflowers at Sunset
Being a Tampa family photographer sometimes things just work out for locations. This particular family booked a session and wanted a “magical” location. I can’t even tell you how many times I have been asked for Tampa photo locations with flowers. I also can’t always predict when wildflowers will bloom, can I? Patterns of wild flowers and locations are similar year after year. However, sometims lack of rain,or too much rain, or just lawn mowers makei unrpedicatble. So, when people ask for flowers and it isn’t really flower season in Florida, it can be hard. However, this field bloomed right at the perfect time for this family. We had another location in mind, and thankfully, they were willing to drive a bit to explore this field of little sunflowers with me.
Flower field sunset pictures with your loves, especially your little one turning one, is pretty darn lucky! Sure beats our studio session we had done of our boys when they turned one! Thankfully, I can capture my boys in fields like this, now, too!
How sweet are these two liittle ones? Clearly so loved! We got a variety of shots in the flowers. With flowers at this height, it is important to be able to photograph low and from above to capture the vast sea of flowers! I thought the sun was going to stay behind clouds the entire time, but we did finally get some sun rays peek through. My favorite color combination of yellow and blue worked well for what this family wore for their session as well. And the curls, I mean clearly baby boy gets his darling curls from his mama. I coudl die, the cutest!!!
Now that summer is arriving the flowers are starting to fade, but thankfully with this client’s artwork they picked out, they will live on for forever in their home. I can’t wait to see their canvases displayed on their walls, to enjoy the sunflowers and these moments for years to come!
