Traditional Brandon Florida Wedding

Traditional Brandon Florida Wedding

Nativity Catholic Church Celebration

This is a sneak into the traditional Brandon, Florida wedding for this couple. Which is pretty special since few months earlier, they did their wedding ceremony in New York. We spent a lovely day in the Brandon area at Nativity Catholic Church and then a small reception at The Shrimp Boat after their church nuptials were finished. Alexis wedding dress was seriously made for her, and can you believe it even had pockets! I think it is the best that she got to wear her dress twice, although, she quickly changed after the wedding ceremony into another gorgeous outfit, perfect for a more relaxed reception for their Florida family and friends. The cake was to die for in rich royal blue and yellows, and Cakes by Russ, even provided a custom birthday cake for the flower girl, which was also so special and gorgeous!

Some of my favorite moments of the day, were when we snuck away, just the bride and groom and did some more traditional couples portraits but in a less traditional setting. You would never know this is the side of the parking lot outside of their reception restaurant, would you? Just a few minutes for you as a couple on your wedding day, or your second wedding day in this case is still a critical part of your wedding day planning! So, don’t forget to set aside a little time with your wedding photographer; preferably around sunset. In this case, the small wedding in the middle of the day did not allow for sunset, but I think the portraits will still be priceless no matter the time of day! You can certainly feel their love and adoration for each other, am I right?traditional brandon florida wedding, tampa wedding photographerTampa wedding photographer, couple portraits for weddings
