Family Photos & Pregnancy Portraits Tampa
Being a Valrico maternity photographer, I truly love to incorporate families into these pregnancy focused photo session as much as possible. Plus, when you have an adorable little one to capture at the same time, it is always more fun! This gorgeous lady is an amazing person who touched our kiddos lives and I was so thrilled to capture her in her pregnancy glow. While pregnancy isn’t always easy, it is nice to document that adorable baby bump before baby arrives. Because we all know, that after they come the real chaos comes.
Speaking of chaos. A lot of moms are hesitant to do maternity photos on their second or third child. Or course, it doesn’t matter what baby number you are on, each bump is special to document. I love to also focus on the family dynamic you currently have before another member of the family joins in. Plus, it is a great way to get a few updated photos of your other children, too. I don’t only photograph mama, it is everyones turn to be photographed. Perhaps with baby number two, or three, or four, just set up your session a little earlier in the pregnancy. Your energy can sometimes get zapped a bit quicker if you have other toddlers toddling around!
Or, if you are expecting in the heat of summer, again, I would recommend setting up your maternity photos a bit earlier than normal. The heat can just zap your energy. My other maternity photo tip is to drink so much water the week of your session. Well, that actually goes for all photo sessions. Trust me, your skin will thank you! Make sure you moisturize your hands and arms more than normal, too. Your hands are usually photographed a bit closer up during pregnancy photos. Schedule a manicure or maternity massage. Both are a great way to feel pampered before your session!
Oh, and yes, this Valrico photo location was phenomenal. How gorgeous does this mama look, bathed in sunshine and surrounded by beautiful landscapes and love from her family? I mean, I could photograph here every day! . I know my most commented question on blog posts is “where were these taken?” It is a private location, so alas, I can’t give the location away. However, for this family, it really worked so perfectly!
