Newborn Photographer Tampa Bay | Stress Free Newborn Pictures
I cannot say enough amazing things about this family. It really has been so amazing to see their family grow and all the love they have for each other. They are also some of the most relaxed people I have ever photographed, which always relaxes me and I end up taking more photos than they will ever need. I am sure they are not complaining. In order to have a relaxing newborn photo experience, it helps to keep relaxed and know that babies and kids have their own agendas a lot of the time. I am very well versed with family photography and nothing really phases me, so going with the flow is pretty easy if we all have the expectatio that the kids will likely run the show a bit. Also, this is the fourth newborn photo session blogged in a row, can you tell it has been a snuggly and wonderful spring of babies!?!
In addition to patience, I bring with me a few simple newborn wraps and accessories so you don’t have to over buy anything to prepare for the photos. This family though did purchase the sweetest button up one piece outfit that was darling for photos. It was right from Amazon. There are a few other simple options like this that I am compiling for my newborn clients’ welcome packet, too. It is nice to have a simple button up outfit so you can easily disrobe baby without disturbing them if they are solidly sleeping. I also bring a little space heater to your home so when we do a few posed photos, if baby is unwrapped a bit, or the air conditioning is blowing and will likely wake your bub up if they are down to a light wrap, it wil help them stay sleeping. That way the whole house doesn’t have to sweat it out while baby is stripped down a bit. They can’t regulate their temperature, so we want to make sure they are comfortable, too. Then the other thing I bring is my eye for the space with the best light in your house. Then, I create a nook for doing some photos in those spaces. If you have a particular spot you want documented as well, I will take some photos there, too, but ultimately, I will make sure the best light option is used so you have options for your gallery that match my style of photography. Ultimately, that should be what set me apart from other photographers and why you booked me, so I want to deliver my style in the end, too.
If you are looking for a newborn photographer, my newborn options include either a petite session for one hour where you get to hold your baby for most of the session and it is less focused on baby led posed images. Or, the full two hour session gives you a nice blend of family images where baby is in the best place for them, your arms, and a few simple baby led poses as well. I usually set up newborns for weekday mornings and offer a slight discount for weekdays as well. However, if you need a weekend, then I do book those about 6 weeks before your due date so I can be to sure you two weekend dates after your due date. Additionally, I love to do newborn photos within the first two weeks, but I will always follow your lead for what works best for you. If you have a c-section, you may want to wait a bit more so you can move more freely, too. Ultimately, I want to offer a newborn session that isn’t stressful and just takes you right back to these first few weeks after your baby is finally here! Oh, and speaking of taking you back, check out this adorable big brother’s very own newborn session from a few years ago.
