Riverview Florida Photographer | Senior Pictures Tampa
I was lucky enough to document this guy’s older brother’s senior pictures a few years ago. Big brother has already graduated from college and now his middle brother is about to graduate from high school. As a Riverview, Florida, photographer, it is such a fun time of year for me. Senior pictures in Tampa can take place all over Hillsborough County. I of course, love using Winthrop Town Centre as a backdrop in Riverview. You can see it in many, many of my photo sessions. Particularly in the spring it is just a great spot for a variety of backdrops in a short amount of time. This is one location that I do offer short and sweet senior mini-sessions. These are great for a week night and for kids who don’t want a ton of outfit changes! This guy was so quick, and mom knew that would be the case, so his little sister joined us, too. I can’t wait to see her in a few years when she graduates, too :)
The mini-session does not work if you want multiple outfits and 100 photos. However, for many of my seniors who often have already done the required high school grad school photos, these minis are perfect sessions to add a bit of personality in the spring. Especially if you know where you are heading next year for school, or military, etc. Or if you have your cap and gown, these mini-sessions help document that option for you not on the big day itself; which is usually a day of chaos and let’s not forget it is usually 95 degrees and 100% humidity here in Florida at the end of May and early June.
If you have a high school junior this year, don’t forget to schedule your senior photos early enough in the year. I recommend either early fall, or early spring of the senior year. Spring is probably my favorite time since most kids know what their post-graduation plans are by mid-March. You can contact me in January or February for the most flexibilty for weekend dates, too! We can schedule early in January, which also gives you time to pay in a payment plan for the session in spring!
I offer both weekday senior mini-sessions or full sessions on weekdays or weekends, but my weekends do book up early! I am currently booked through June for weekends for 2023. Please make sure you contact your photographer early enough so you can not only get on the schedule but also receive your images back in a timely manner, too! Parents may want to send out grad announcements or make yard signs with your handsome and lovely faces on them, or make gifts for the grandparents. Having time to order these gifts is critical, too! You don’t want to be paying rush fees and miss out on these fun senior photo sessions!
