Senior Pictures Tampa Cap and Gown Photo Session
I hate that schools don’t deliver cap and gowns until the very end of senior year. It makes it harder to set up a photo session with your cap and gown. For seniors who do their photos early in the year, I do recommend either borrowing a cap and gown from a senior friend about the same size from the previous grad class.
Or an alternative is to set up a mini-session that last month of school.
Of course, I know the schools around here require a photo session with a specific studio photographer and they offer that as an add on as well, but you know that is not my jam, so I am happy to help the last minute sessions for seniors as long as you plan ahead a bit. It is very hard to accomodate every single request for a last minute mini.
So if you are graduating for the class of 2026, make sure you discuss adding on a cap and gown mini when you set up your photos earlier in the year or find that friend earlier in the year! This sweet kiddo is graduating and I think the last time I saw him was in 2017!! Wow, has he grown up or what?? Check out the throwback to 2016!
The fun part of doing a cap and gown session at the end of senior year is that those who are heading to college are able to get a few of those images making the announcement at the same time, too. These cap and gown sessions also make a great early grad gift for family as well. Plus, the whole time doesn’t have to be in your cap/gown. We make time for some special senior portraits in your clothing of choice, too. You can go timeless like this lad, or bring something that represents your style! The cap and gown minis are pretty short though so one outfit change is about all you have time for.
Happiest graduation to you, N! Enjoy the next chapter of your adventure!
timeless and classic always looks good for senior photos
Don’t blink, they grow up so fast!
