Tampa Senior Pictures | Urban Photo Session Water Street
I love when seniors are looking for something unique for their senior photo session. Check out these Tampa senior pictures with an urban twist in this photo session around Water Street from a few weeks ago. I can’t wait for this family to get their prints in their hands and up on their walls from this colorful and fun laid back photo walk session.
The Water Street and Sparkman Wharf area of Tampa provided a fun and colorful backdrop for this stunning senior! Even with all the color and graphic art on the walls, we loved the black and white images just as much. I loved that this family printed just as many black and white pictures as the color images, too. The black and white images always remain timeless.
Oh and don’t you just love that this senior brought her dog to her photo session? Yup, me too! I mean, what a fun addition to her senior portraits with personality! So not only can you do your family photos with your pet, but senior pictures we absolutely welcome pets. Just know some locations are not pet friendly, so plan this out with me in advance so we can make sure we cover any logistic or approvals needed before your favorite pet comes with you for you for your photo session! I think this awesome senior also shows you don’t need a ton of fancy clothes, or heavy make up. Being yourself shows your beauty and style and helps make you more comfortable, too. Now, if you are into clothes and make up, by all means, show that off! But if you aren’t, don’t be something you are not!
One of my favorite quotes is “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken” by Oscar Wilde and I adore that this senior stayed true to herself and her natural beauty shines in these images, right?
With this gorgeous girl’s long hair, I knew I wanted to play with some slow shutter images. These were two images that were really fun and helped document her gorgeous long locks. Her smile comes through even with the slow shutter and I loved that this moment gave me a minut to play and also make her smile when I told her it was getting a little “scary movie” feel and that was enough with the slow shutter play. I think that resulted in some of her most relaxed smiles of the day!
