Treasure Island Beach | Extended family vacation photos
I love families who come here to vacation together and make time to get family photos done together. It really is so special to document your vacations on our gorgeous Florida beaches, but it is a whole different level when you take time to do a family photo session on the beach with your whole family. This family was staying on Treasure Island Beach. I don’t get to that specific area as much as Indian Rocks Beach and south in areas like Pass-a-Grille Beach or Anna Maria Island but man, Treasure Island was super pretty!
I loved the small public parking area that we met at as well because it has a larger area of shade and wind block for the more traditional family photos before we moved to the fun, movement friendly area of the expansive beach and water itself. This time of year, especially around the July 4th holidays the beaches can be super busy, but I do my best to make sure a bunch of strangers are not in your family beach photos. This particular time of year, it means a lot of people swimming behind you, so that is definitely where I had to edit out a few “friends” from their photos. All in all, it wasn’t too bad though, especially considering the holiday week. Thankfully, the storms held off for us during our time together. Man, the whole way home back to the other side of Tampa though, I was in for a huge lightening show and rain, too.
Check out this extended family photo session on Treasure Island Beach with lots of fun colors for a summer family photo session on the beach. If you are looking for a fall family beach photo session please contact me soon. My fall mini-session dates will go live August 15th and I don’t offer beach photo sessions on the Gulf, so the best way to document your family at the beach is to set up a full session this year. As weekend dates are limited those will fill up quickly, so don’t delay!
