What is better than senior pictures? Senior pictures at two iconic Tampa locations is better, right?! This senior is on to big things next year and I loved documenting her happy senior style in two Tampa photo locations. We started at Water Street, a newer fun, vibrant location in Tampa. Perfect for her sunny disposition. Then we headed to Davis Islands Beach.

You know those places that are just magical, no matter the weather, no matter sunshine or clouds, these special locations just always seem to be bring out the best for photos? That is Davis Islands Beach for me.This family is also pretty magical and special too. They have trusted me for a few years now with the extra bonus of film at their mini-sessions. That means they get a little extra time and a whole roll of film to play with and keep the digitals of at the end as well. Davis Islands and film are also a perfect match like peanut butter and jelly!

I just love when a night works out with perfect weather, the perfect light, the perfect family and the perfect outfits. I work hard with clients to help guide them to be themselves in photos and still bring style that fits them and works well in camera. This family probably didn’t need much help in the style departement though at all. They layered the most perfect textures and variety of fabrics in all neutrals. This high school senior session took place over two locations; which is always an option to add on to your senior pictures if you like. We started at this senior’s favorite spot, the golf course. Then we headed to Davis Island Beach for some family photos. I love to offer family photos for the last few minutes of a senior session.This works well if your senior doesn’t want too many outfit changes or individual images. Instead, if we take the last third of the session time for family, you get to document your family before the next big milestone of graduation. For a lot of kids, that means leaving “the nest” and it is the last time everyone is around and easy to set up a family photo session!

This family photo session was the one that almost didn't happen this year. A hurricane made us change our plans from Palm Island to Tampa, and then another hurricane changed our date again, but it was like the stars aligned for this South Tampa family photographer session at Davis Island Beach. The light here is so special this time of year, it worked perfectly with their neutral wardrobe palatte.

Meet baby D! She is about as cute as can be and her parents are adorable, too, right? This session got moved from early storms in September to October. I am so glad we stuck it out to do this outdoor baby photo session during the season of holiday photos and set up a weekday session at Davis Island Beach. The waiting was worth it. The light was pure magic.
