I just adore when families get together and want to document this time together with a photo session. Celebrating this gorgeous mama of this family, we got together to celebrate her 70th birthday. I honestly don’t believe she is 70! Can I have her skin when I am 70? But I digress. I just had the most fun documenting this family at the gorgeous Medard Park in Plant City. The mossy trees, beautiful sunlight, gorgeous huge trees that look prehistoric and so unique, yes please!

This session right here just goes to to show you that fancy dresses, extra costly outfits that match perfectly are not neccessary to get great family photos. If your family is a jeans and t-shirt kind of family, of course that is cool in my book. I won’t make you wear anything you don’t love. I don’t make you pick from a client closet of fancy dresses. No, you can be yourselves. Of course I am here for some guidance but generally there is something in your closet that can work. You don’t all have to match. But rather coordinate is better. However, being authentically you and documenting that in lovely photos is always my goal. No matter what your wardrobe is.

Family photography is my jam. That means families of all kinds, even with grown children. I had a ball photographing this absolutely wonderful family this spring. They are about to send their son off to an amazing adventure and there was no better time to document their family than now.
