When you get two mini-sessions for graduation, you know I am going to highlight both of them. These two different locations means two totally different sessions. I love that I was able to document this milestone for this amazingly smart and sweet young lady. She was an absolute natural in front of the camera and any time I asked her to do something or try something she was always game! I love that. This is such a fun opportunity to try new things and document such a fun milestone for your graduating seniors. This is a the moment between childhood and adulthood for many kids as they graduate and start planning a life in college. A life with more freedom, more independence, more responsiblities, so why not celebrate it with a fun photo session?
Here is a link back to her mini-session in a field, and now onto her senior grad pictures in Tampa, at Davis Islands Beach. It can be quite hectic and sometimes busier than others, but it is always gorgeous, especially with a sunny night. This time of year the sea grapes are not as green but I think the tones worked with her FSU colors? Plus, a classic white dress is something you just can’t go wrong with. Well, I do hesitate to do everyone in white because some skin/hair/eye colors can look a bit washed out in true white, but you can always get the right neutral for your skin tones if you warm it up a bit if you are super fair. Then, I recommend a creamier classic beach dress instead. You could also do a soft pink or soft blue if you know that whites wash out your tones, too!
If you are a senior next year, now is the time to start thinking ahead for your graduation photos. I know most schools require the yearbook photos with a specific company, but if you want to do a session with your style and personality highlighted, let me help! I do take a limited number of fall senior photo sessions but as that is my high season for family photos, I limit them to one per month. Then in spring I offer weekday mini-sessions for seniors Monday - Thursdays only and then full sessions on weekends or weekdays! I won’t open the spring schedule until the end of October of this year, but if you want on the fall schedule because your spring is so busy with school or activities, then contact me now to get a weekend or weekday of your choice!
Sometimes my favorite moments from a beach session are the moments you feel something rather than a perfect smile at the camera moment. This out of focus moment really makes me feel like the ending of a day at the beach, and appreciate a moment to soak it all up, as she is about to embark on the adventure of college, too.
