I loved that there were some festive wreaths up by the time we got our session in this fall, too. I just love when a night works out with perfect weather, the perfect light, the perfect family and the perfect outfits. I work hard with clients to help guide them to be themselves in photos and still bring style that fits them and works well in camera. This family probably didn’t need much help in the style departement though at all. They layered the most perfect textures and variety of fabrics in all neutrals. This family photo session was the one that almost didn't happen this year. A hurricane made us change our plans from Palm Island to Tampa, and then another hurricane changed our date again, but it was like the stars aligned for this South Tampa family photographer session at Davis Island Beach. The light here is so special this time of year, it worked perfectly with their neutral wardrobe palatte.

Urban family photo session, yes please. The biggest hit this fall and first location snatched up off the schedule right away. This lovely family has been coming back to me for ten years. I think this was one of my favorite sessions of theirs yet. They fit perfectly in this urban setting. Oh, and if you you are looking for a cool urban photo shoot next year, the flowers that bloom in the spring really make the riverwalk come alive more, too. It is a great spot for high school senior sessions or fun family photo sessions any time of year!

This family has been on my blog a lot. Which I love because I really love watching clients kiddos grow up before my lens! I mean look at little L. His curls and big beautiful eyes are a photographer’s dream. This holiday session at Kiley Gardens in Downtown Tampa was a great night during the earlier part of schedule for weekday mini-sessions this fall!

The most glorious “fall” like night at Hillsborough River State Park and a lovely family photo session full of laughter, fun and sweet moments. This family always brings the style. This year was no different. Their holiday mini session near Fishhawk Ranch with the perfect fall color palette while not feeling “fall heavy,” was just right. Sometimes heavy sweaters for fall just don’t make sense in the fall in Florida!

Meet baby D! She is about as cute as can be and her parents are adorable, too, right? This session got moved from early storms in September to October. I am so glad we stuck it out to do this outdoor baby photo session during the season of holiday photos and set up a weekday session at Davis Island Beach. The waiting was worth it. The light was pure magic.
