Tampa Baby Photographer | In home newborn photos
You guys, just for a bit of holy cow, am I getting older for you, this baby’s dad was once a high schooler in one of my family photo sessions back in 2012. Now, full circle, he is getting his own family photos taken twelve years later. Baby girl was welcomed a few days before our session.
She was truly one of the strongest little babies I have ever taken photos of! Seriously, I was in awe of her strength and was kind of afraid we weren’t going to get any sleeping posed images for this family as she didn’t want to stay still at all. The best thing about being a photographer is definitely having a lot of experience with these things and not stressing too much because babies are still wonderful when they are awake. Doing this for almost 13 years, the one thing I always bring to each session I do is lots and lots of patience. After a few attempts she settled in just fine. Honestly, babies can be wide awake at their newborn session and that is fine. However, to keep her safe in her little basket for some baby led newborn photos, being asleep is ideal. Then she was as content as could be and happy to get all the photos done and we swapped out her blankets for many heirloom family pieces and her Winnie the Pooh nursery decor pieces, too. She was so petite, but so mighty! I adore all of these images we took along the way, especially some of the last ones in black and white, you can really see how tiny she is between her parents.
I only take a few newborns a month, and with another one set up for next week, I am booked for February. However, I can fit in another two newborns in March if you or someone you love is expecting, I would love to document this family milestone for you, too! If you refer a friend, I also gift you a $25 print credit and they get a $25 print credit, too!
