Tampa Senior Photo Locations | Urban Senior Pictures
This time of year I am busy with many weeknight senior sessions as their last few weeks of school started to wrap up. The biggest tip I have for high school seniors is to be yourself in your senior pictures. So wearing your favorite clothes, and leting your personal style shine is so important! Then we can help you plan the best location to match your style. Even if that means you wear something your parents would like for some of the photos, we still recommend letting your seniors give their own input into their style, too. I promise to make the session painless and fun but giving your senior a little flexibilty to show off there senior style always helps relax them for their milestone photo session as well.
If you want your cap and gown for your senior photos then spring time will be best for your session. Sometimes you can ask your school guidance counselor for a cap and gown to borrow in the fall if you don’t want to wait. I am also thinking of offering a mini-session for next fall for 5-10 minutes with your cap and gown for a few digital negatives just so you don’t have to wait until the last minute to set up your high school senior portraits! Those would only be open to clients who booked a session that year, but would be a fun way to document your senior in their cap and gown once all their adornments for the graduation are in! Ybor city
Loved this senior session with two lifelong friends as they graduated from college. Ybor City was the perfect backdrop for a playful senior photo session. More to come from this session with each getting their own photo session, but these friendshop photos were some of my favorites from the night!
We also have a great fun backdrop with Ybor city for guys, too! This awesome senior brought his guitar and it just fit so perfectly in the Tampa urban backdrop for senior pictures!

Winthrop Town Center
Winthrop Town Center in Riverview, just east of Tampa, is a great spot for a variety of backdrops in a small area. There are also great restaurants to make a night of it with family or your special senior!
The best part of Winthrop is that there is a sweet little niche of greenery, so you can get urban and green space the same night! This is probably why this is my most requested Tampa senior picture location!
This stunner in her gown was perfect at this location but we also did family photos at the green space in the Winthrop area, too, so be sure to check back for that blog!
Water Street
