Three newborns, three outdoor photo sessions and so many years of photo memories! The Riverhills Park location in Temple Terrace is definitely a hidden photo spot gem for Tampa. It has water, and lush trees, ferns, little paths and lots of gorgeous back lighting. Here are just a few favorites from this lovely outdoor newborn and family photo session. I could definitely see this spot working for a senior looking for water views and greenery and who may not want to go to Lettuce Lake because it is a busier spot. With littles we didn’t explore as much as we could have but with older kids or teens it would be a great spot for a full session for a lot of natural variety in a small-ish area!

I don’t know if gets better than a flower field session. There is just something a little more extra special about wildflower fields, am I right? This sweet senior happened to contact me at the exact right time. The weather was still gorgeous and I knew this field was just about done for the season. I am usually lucky enough to get a few photos here each spring, between February and March. The flower field typically gets mowed at least once and the second time growing usually is dependant on the weather if it is lush or just reblooms a little bit. This year was perfect right before spring break, and it is always more magical in the morning. The light is so golden and the tree line helps give that added bokeh effect. This day we had a tiny sliver of fog run through for a few minutes and it was still cool enough that we could see her breath for a few shots in the sun.

It is that time of year where I get a lot of inquiries for senior photo sessions. I love it! Senior portraits are some of my favorite photo sessions. This family is one of my favorites and after years of knowing them, I finally got them in front of my camera. What a big milestone as this guy gets ready to graduate!! I am always thrilled when senior pictures include a portion for family photos, too. As a Plant City senior photographer one of the most requested locations is Medard Park. It is always gorgeous and allowed so much room to bring his baby, er, car with! Having something meaningful at your senior pictures can often time relax seniors more. Especially guys who many not be as used to taking selfies and photos as some of the senior girls I photograph.

Meet N. Her smile and spirit match her beauty and brains! I adore her and her family. Her senior session was a two part session and I am actually recommending it for future seniors if you can do manage to set up two mini-sessions, or a full session with a plan for two locations in the logistics! I just adore when families get together and want to document this time together with a photo session. Celebrating this gorgeous mama of this family, we got together to celebrate her 70th birthday. I honestly don’t believe she is 70! Can I have her skin when I am 70? But I digress. I just had the most fun documenting this family at the gorgeous Medard Park in Plant City. The mossy trees, beautiful sunlight, gorgeous huge trees that look prehistoric and so unique, yes please!
